This exhibition blends nostalgia with a hopeful view of the future, using Andrew Sutherland's imaginative landscapes to explore the relationship between the past, present, and future. His work invites us to reflect on exploration, both of the natural world and our emotional connection to it. With elements like giant cacti and mysterious mountains, Sutherland reimagines a world where nature is untouched, suggesting a future where humanity’s progress respects and preserves the environment.
The question, "where will we be tomorrow?" takes on new meaning in the current global context, offering an escape and a chance to reflect on how we might shape a future that honors the natural world. Sutherland's work beautifully balances nostalgia with futuristic possibilities, reminding us that exploration and preservation can coexist.
