TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

A winter group exhibition at Salon Ninety One, created in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic. The phrase “to whom it may concern” is often used when the recipient is unknown. Over the past year, we’ve all experienced dramatic shifts in our lives. Who could have predicted that, more than a year later, we’d still be navigating this “new normal”? With so many events cancelled, rescheduled, or delayed, where do we place all our emotions? How do we capture how much we’ve changed, and, if we could, who would we even send it to?
